A PROCLAMATION

APPOINTING TUESDAY, 27TH DECEMBER 2005 AND MONDAY, 29TH MAY 2006 AS BANK HOLIDAYS IN SCOTLAND.

Whereas We consider it desirable that Tuesday, the twenty-seventh day of December in the year 2005 and Monday, the twenty ninth day of May in the year 2006 should be bank holidays in Scotland.

Now, therefore, We, in pursuance of section 1(3) of the Banking and Financial Dealings Act 1971, do hereby appoint Tuesday, the twenty-seventh day of December in the year 2005 and Monday, the twenty ninth day of May in the year 2006 to be bank holidays in Scotland.

Given at Our Court at Buckingham Palace this 7th day of June in the year of our Lord two thousand and five and in the fifty-fourth year of Our Reign.
