THE ELECTRICITY WORKS (ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT) (SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 2000

Notice is hereby given that following an application by Brockloch Rig Windfarm Limited (whose Registered Office is at 302 St Vincent Street, Glasgow G2 5RZ) to the Scottish Ministers under the Electricity Act 1989, section 36 for consent to construct and operate an extension to the wind powered generating station at Windy Standard in Dumfries and Galloway (Grid Ref NS 60 01) further and additional information is available to supplement the environmental statement which has already been produced. This information concerns a reduction in the number of and amendment to the size of proposed wind turbines and assessments on peat stability and mammal surveys.

Copies of the further and additional information together with the original application, a plan showing the land to which project relates and the original Environmental Statement are available for inspection, free of charge, during normal office hours at:-

Copies of the peat assessments cost £50 and copies of the mammal survey report cost £10. Copies of the original ES are also available at a cost of £125, or £20 on CD. Copies of the non-technical summary are available free of charge.

Any representations in relation to the further and additional information should be made in writing to Ben Maguire, The Scottish Executive, Consents Unit, 5 Cadogan Street, Glasgow G2 6AT, (energyconsents@scotland.gsi.gov.uk) identifying the proposal and specifying the grounds for objection, not later than 11 July 2005. Representations received by the Scottish Executive will be copied to the planning authority. The Scottish Executive may be obliged, under the terms of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, to disclose representations to any third party.
