POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL (SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 2000

In accordance with paragraph 5 of Schedule 4 to the above Regulations, Notice is hereby given that application has been made to the Scottish Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA) for a Permit under regulation 7 of the Regulations by Shetland Oiltools Limited in respect of activities being carried out, namely the recovery of oil by distillation, burning fuel manufactured from waste, and materials handling/storage, in an installation at the Greenhead Base, Lerwick, Shetland Islands ZE1 0PY.

The application contains a description of any foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installation on the environment.

The application may be inspected free of charge, at SEPA, The Esplanade, Lerwick, Shetland ZE1 0LL during normal office hours. Please quote reference number PPC/A/1000167.

Written representation concerning this application may be made to the SEPA at the above address, or sent to DingwallRegistry@sepa.org.uk and if received within 28 days of this notice, will be taken into consideration in determining the application. Any such representations made by any person will be entered in a public register unless that person requests in writing that they should not be so entered. Where such a request is made, there will be included in the register a statement indicating that representations have been made which has been the subject of such a request.
