NOTICE OF PREPARATION OF LOCAL PLAN

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (SCOTLAND) ACT 1997

FINALISED ANGUS LOCAL PLAN REVIEW

Angus Council have prepared the above named local plan.

Certified copies of the plan and of the statement mentioned in section 12(5) of the Act have been deposited at:

  Planning & Transport Reception, St. James House, St. James Road, Forfar;

  ACCESS Offices in Brechin, Carnoustie, Kirriemuir, Monifieth and Montrose; and

  Public Libraries in Arbroath, Brechin, Carnoustie, Edzell, Forfar, Friockheim, Kirriemuir, Letham, Monifieth, Montrose and Newtyle and the mobile libraries which circulate in the Angus area.

The deposited documents are available for inspection free of charge during normal opening hours and can also be viewed online at www.angus.gov.uk/localplan

Copies of the deposited documents can also be purchased from Planning & Transport, St. James House, St. James Road, Forfar at the following prices:

Finalised Angus Local Plan Review (£15.00), Statement of Publicity and Consultation (Volume 1: Summary – £5.00; Volume 2: Responses – £15.00).

Objections to the plan must be made in writing on the appropriate Objection Forms which are available free of charge at all the above locations. Completed forms should be sent to the Director of Planning and Transport, Angus Council, St. James House, St. James Road, Forfar DD8 2ZP and must be received by 5.00 pm on 17 March 2005. Alternatively, you can download an Objection Form from www.angus.gov.uk/localplan and send it as an e-mail attachment to localplan@angus.gov.uk

Objections should state the name and address of the objector, the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made.
