THE ELECTRICITY WORKS (ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT) (SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 2000

Notice is hereby given that AMEC Project Investments Ltd (whose Registered Office is at Sandiway House, Hartford, Northwich, Cheshire, CW8 2YA) has applied to the Scottish Ministers for consent to construct and operate a wind farm at Aultmore (Grid Reference 345000 859000) near Keith in Moray. The installed capacity of the proposed generating station would be 62MW. This is a re-advertisement to confirm that the number of turbines has been reduced to 29 turbines and the layout amended.

AMEC Project Investments Ltd has also applied for a direction under Section 57(2) of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 that planning permission for the development be deemed to be granted.

Copies of the original Environmental Statement may be obtained from AMEC at a charge of £200 hard copy and £10 on CD. Copies of a short non-technical summary are available free of charge.

Any objections or representations to the application should be made in writing to Lesley Thomson, The Scottish Executive, Energy Consents, 2nd Floor, Meridian Court, 5 Cadogan Street, Glasgow, G2 6AT, (lesley.thomson@scotland.gsi.gov.uk) identifying the proposal and specifying the grounds for objection, not later than 24th January 2005. Anyone making a representation about this proposal should note that their letter or e-mail will be disclosed to any individual or body who requests sight of representations in respect of this proposal. If you do not wish your representation to be disclosed you should make this explicitly clear.
