THE WEST LOTHIAN COUNCIL (LAMMERMUIR HOUSE FOOTPATH) (STOPPING UP) ORDER 2004

Notice is hereby given that on 26th November 2004 the West Lothian Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by sections 1(1) and 68(1) of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 made and confirmed the above mentioned Order as unopposed.

Copies of the Order as made and confirmed, the accompanying plan, a copy of the press notice and a statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order, have been deposited at West Lothian Council Headquarters, West Lothian House, Almondvale Boulevard, Livingston and may be inspected free of charge between the hours of 9.00am and 4.30pm Mondays to Fridays during the period 2nd December 2004 to 9th January 2005, (NB: extra days have been added to compensate for closure during public holidays).

The effect of the Order is to stop up the footpath adjacent to the north wall of Lammermuir House, as stated in detail in Notice 1501/37 in the Edinburgh Gazette dated 3rd September and the West Lothian Courier of 2nd September 2004.

The Order will come into force on the Third day of December in the year Two Thousand and Four and be brought into operation when the work on site is complete.
