Proposed Wind Farm at Waterhead Moor, Tourgill & Outerwards Farms, Largs

In pursuance of the above Regulations, notice is hereby given that SSE Generation Limited, Inveralmond House, 200 Dunkeld Road, Perth, PH1 3AQ (Registered Office, Westacott Way, Littlewick Green, Maidenhead, Berkshire, SL6 3QB) has submitted to the Scottish Ministers:

An Application for consent under Section 36 of the Electricity Act 1989 for the construction of a wind farm of up to 132MW at Waterhead Moor on the lands of Tourgill Farm and Outerwards Farm, Largs, North Ayrshire, (OS Grid Reference NS247649). An Environmental Impact Assessment is currently being prepared and will be submitted to Scottish Ministers and made available for public viewing and comment in accordance with the provisions of the Electricity Works (Environmental Impact Assessment) (Scotland) Regulations 2000 in due course.

Copies of the Application have been deposited at the locations shown in the Schedule to this Notice and will be available for inspection there until 17th December 2004 without payment of fee during the normal business hours of these premises.
