A PROCLAMATION
APPOINTING FRIDAY, 26TH DECEMBER 2003 AND MONDAY, 31sT MAY 2004 AS BANK HOLIDAYS IN SCOTLAND.

Whereas We consider it desirable that Friday, the twenty-sixth day of December in the year 2003 and Monday, the thirty-first day of May in the year 2004 should be bank holidays in Scotland.

Now, therefore, We, in pursuance of section 1(3) of the Banking and Financial Dealings Act 1971, do hereby appoint Friday, the twenty-sixth day of December in the year 2003 and Monday, the thirty-first day of May in the year 2004 to be bank holidays in Scotland.

Given at Our Court at Buckingham Palace this Twelfth day of June in the year of our Lord two thousand and three and in the fifty-second year of Our Reign.
