THE WEST LOTHIAN COUNCIL (ALMONDVALE BOULEVARD, Livingston - TERRACE CAR PARK) (STOPPING UP OF FOOTPATHS) ORDER 2003

TCP/03/01

Notice is hereby given that on 20th May 2003 The West Lothian Council made an Order under Section 207 of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 stopping-up the road described in the Schedule below, being satisfied that it has become necessary to authorising the stopping up of the said lengths of road in order to enable development to be carried out in accordance with planning permission granted under Part III of the said 1997 Act.

The title of the Order is “The West Lothian Council (Almondvale Boulevard, Livingston - Terrace Car Park) (Stopping Up of Footpaths) Order 2003”.

A copy of the Order and of the related plan showing the road to be stopped up, together with a statement of the reasons for making the Order have been deposited at West Lothian Council, Headquarters, West Lothian House, Almondvale Boulevard, Livingston.

Those documents are available for inspection free of charge from 29th May until 27th June 2003 during the hours of 9.00 am and 4.30 pm Mondays to Fridays inclusive. Further information about the proposals, may be obtained from the Highways Manager on 01506 776235.

Any person may, within 28 days from 29th May 2003, object to the making of the Order prior to its confirmation by notice in writing, quoting reference TCP/03/01, to The Chief Solicitor, West Lothian House, Almondvale Boulevard, Livingston. Objections should state the name and address of the objector, the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made. Alternatively objections may be e-mailad to susan.wales@westlothian.gov.uk., provided such objectors quote their full name and postal address.

SCHEDULE

Parts of Road in Livingston to be Stopped Up

Two areas of road presently footpath situated on the northern side of Almondvale Boulevard adjacent to the northern access road through Terrace Car Park

Footpath Area 1

A rectangular area of 14.7 metres by 1.9 metres or thereby lying parallel to and approximately 61 metres north of Almondvale Boulevard and 64 metres east of Torridon House.

Footpath Area 2

An area of 56 square metres or thereby lying approximately 62 metres north of Almondvale Boulevard and 141 metres east of Torridon House.
