THE WEST LOTHIAN COUNCIL (BAIRD ROAD AND MACkINTOSH ROAD, LIVINGSTON) (ONE-WAY TRAFFIC REGULATION) AND (VARIOUS ROADS, LIVINGSTON) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING) (VARIATION) ORDER 2003

The West Lothian Council on 21st March 2003, made the above mentioned Order which will come into effect on 31st March 2003 The effect of the Order is to be to designate the direction of travel for Baird Road and Mackintosh Road, Livingston and vary “The (Various Roads, Livingston) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Unloading) Order 1999” to impose waiting restrictions of no waiting, loading or unloading at any time on Baird Road, Mackintosh Road and Simpson Parkway as stated in detail in Notice 1501/70 in the Edinburgh Gazette number 25222 dated 17th May 2002 and the West Lothian Courier of 16th May 2002.

A copy of the Order together with explanatory map, a copy of the press notice, a statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order and the Order to be varied, may be examined during the period 27th March to 2nd May 2003 between the hours of 9.00 am and 4.30 pm Mondays to Fridays at West Lothian Council Headquarters, West Lothian House, Almondvale Boulevard, Livingston

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any provision made in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers confirmed by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or any relevant regulation has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the above date of making apply to the Court of Session for this purpose.
