The A702 Trunk Road (Lamington) (40 mph Speed Limit) Order 200

The Scottish Ministers give notice that they propose to make the above Order which will extend the existing 40mph speed limit on the A702 Edinburgh to Abington Trunk Road in Lamington from a point 323 metres or thereby southwest of the centreline of the junction of Church Road in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 1048 metres or thereby.

Full details of the proposals are contained in the Order which, together with a copy of the existing Order to be revoked, a plan showing the length of road involved, and a statement of the Scottish Ministers’ reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be examined free of charge during normal office hours from 13th March 2003 to 10th April 2003 at the Scottish Executive Development Department, Road Network Management and Maintenance Division, Victoria Quay, Edinburgh; Amey Highways, 600 Gilmerton Road, Edinburgh, EH17 8RY; and Biggar Community Council, Springfield Farm, Biggar, Lanarkshire ML12 6NP.

Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send details of the grounds for objection in writing to the Scottish Executive Development Department, Road Network Management and Maintenance Division, Victoria Quay, Edinburgh EH6 6QQ quoting reference UM/NSE/D/O/2/5 by 10th April 2003.
