Amended proposal for continued extraction of sand and gravel and associated processing to supersede application 01/00097/FULIN at Mid Lairgs Quarry, Farr, Strathnairn, Inverness

The Council has received a planning application accompanied by an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the development described above.

Copies of the planning application and EIA can be inspected during normal office hours at the following locations:-

1. Area Planning and Building Control Office, 1-3 Church Street, Inverness
2. Planning and Development Service, Glenurquhart Road, Inverness
3. The local shop at Inverarnie, Farr

Copies of the EIA may be purchased from Bowlts, Barnhill, Pluscarden, by Elgin, Moray (01343 890400) at a cost of £110. A non-technical summary is available for £10.

The application is advertised under Section 34 of the above Act and as a potential departure from the Development Plan as well as an application accompanied by an EIA.

Any persons wishing to make representations to The Highland Council should make them in writing to the Director of Planning and Development, Council Offices, Glenurquhart Road, Inverness, IV3 5NX within a period of 28 days beginning with the date of this notice.
