Notice of Intention to Adopt Local Plan

South Lanarkshire Minerals Local Plan

South Lanarkshire Council has decided to adopt the above-named local plan on or after 16th August 2002 unless, before the plan has been adopted, the Scottish Ministers direct that the plan shall not be adopted until further notice or shall not have effect unless approved by them.

Certified copies of the plan together with copies of the report of the Local Inquiry held and the Councils statement following consideration of such report have been deposited at all libraries. Q&A offices in South Lanarkshire and the Council Offices at Montrose Crescent, Hamilton, Auchingramont Road, Hamilton, Civic Centre, East Kilbride, King Street, Ruthergten and South Vennel, Lanark.

The deposited documents are available for inspection free of charge.
