Abandonment Order

Gilpinstown Road, Lurgan
The Department for Regional Development being of the opinion that the road is not necessary for road traffic proposes to make an order under Article 68 of the Roads (Northern Ireland) Order 1993 the effect of which would be to abandon a length of 110 metres of superseded road at Gilpinstown Road, Lurgan extending in a south easterly direction from its junction with Portadown Road to a point at the rear of No. 75 Carrigart Manor, Lurgan.
The length of road proposed to be abandoned is delineated on a map, which together with a copy of a draft order may be inspected by any person free of charge at all reasonable hours during the period from 19th February 2009 to 14th April 2009 at the Department’s Roads Service offices, Headquarters, Room 201, Clarence Court, 10–18 Adelaide Street, Belfast BT2 8GB; Southern Division, Marlborough House, Central Way, Craigavon, BT64 1AD and Roads Service, Craigavon Section Office, Carn Industrial Estate, Portadown BT63 5RH.
Any person may within the period above object to the proposal by written notice to Roads Service Southern Division, Craigavon Section Office at the address above stating the grounds of objection.
