Prohibition Of Traffic

Lower Windsor, Belfast (Alleygating)

Notice is given that the Department for Regional Development made on 20th June 2006 an Order entitled The Prohibition of Traffic (Lower Windsor, Belfast) Order (Northern Ireland) 2006 (S.R. 2006 No. 271) which will come into operation on 14th July 2006. The effect of the Order is to prohibit the use by vehicles and pedestrians of the back streets:

to the rear of Nos. 89-143 and to the side of No. 89 Great Northern Street.
to the rear of Nos. 54-60 and to the side of No. 60 Lisburn Avenue.
to the rear of Nos. 151-169 Great Northern Street.
to the rear of Nos. 171-199 and to the side of No.199 Great Northern Street.
to the rear of Nos. 201-249 and to the side of No. 249 Great Northern Street.

It will to give affect to this by erecting gates at the entrances to the back streets specified above. Vehicles requiring access in specified circumstances are exempted from the provisions of this Order.
