Coleraine Borough Houses in Multiple Occupation Subject Plan 2016 - Publication of Issues Paper

The Planning (Northern Ireland) Order 1991

The Coleraine Borough Houses in Multiple Occupation Subject Plan 2016 is a development plan being prepared under the provision of Part III of the Planning (Northern Ireland) Order 1991, by the Planning Service, an Agency within the Department of the Environment. The Subject Plan will be in addition to the ongoing Northern Area Plan, which was published in draft form in May 2005. The Subject Plan will be prepared within the context of the Regional Development Strategy. The Subject Plan relates to the administrative area of Coleraine Borough

Council. Its purpose will be to inform the general public, statutory authorities, developers and other interested bodies of the policy framework and land use proposals that will be used to guide development decisions relating to Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs) in Coleraine Borough Council area.

The Department published the Coleraine Borough Houses in Multiple Occupation Subject Plan 2016 Issues Paper on Monday 3rd April 2006 for the purpose of public participation and consultation. In order to promote an inclusive consultation process one or more events will take place at which members of the public or other interested parties will be able to participate in order to comment and discuss the issues. Details of events will be advertised in the local press.

Individuals and interested parties are invited to examine the issues raised in the Issues Paper and anyone wishing to submit representations may do so in writing to the address above.

All comments should be received not later than 5.00pm on Monday 10th July 2006.

It should be noted that all representations received may be made available for public inspection during the plan preparation process.

It should be noted that any representations relating to a specific site should be accompanied by an up–to-date map identifying the lands in question.
