Bus Lanes: Ballymena & Belfast
Notice is given that the Department for Regional Development made on 20th December 2005 an Order entitled The Bus Lanes (Ballymena and Belfast) Order (Northern Ireland) 2005 (S.R. 2005 No. 575) which will come into operation on 23rd January 2006. The effect of the Order is to revoke and re-enact with amendments the provisions of the Orders relating to the bus lanes in Galgorm Road and George Street, Ballymena and in Duncrue Street, Nelson Street and Queen’s Square, Belfast. The main effects of the amendments are to re-describe the bus lanes to take account of changes in adjoining road names and minor changes in the road layout and to introduce a restriction on the waiting by vehicles using those bus lanes in Belfast. The route of each bus lane will remain unchanged.
