Steps at Carlisle Pass, Londonderry: Abandonment

The Department for Regional Development hereby gives notice that it proposes to make an order under Article 68 of the Roads (Northern Ireland) Order 1993 the effect of which would be to abandon Carlisle Steps, Londonderry, being 32 metres of step connecting Carlisle Pass to John Street, starting between Nos. 49 and 51 Carlisle Pass and ending

between Nos. 19 and 28 John Street.

The length of road proposed to be abandoned is delineated on a map, which together with a copy of a draft order, may be inspected by any person free of charge at all reasonable hours during the period from 13th June 2005 to 29th July 2005 at the Department’s Roads Service offices, Headquarters, Room 201, Clarence Court, 10–18 Adelaide Street, Belfast BT2 8GB; and Northern Division, County Hall, Castlerock Road, Coleraine BT51 3HS and the Section Office 1A Crescent Road, Londonderry BT47 1AQ.

Any person may within the said period object to the proposal by written notice to Roads Service Headquarters at the address above stating the grounds of objection.
