Planning Application Likely To Have Significant Environmental Effects On Northern Ireland

The Department has received the following planning application from the Republic of Ireland, accompanied by an Environmental Statement, for development which is likely to have significant effects on the environment in Northern Ireland.

Application No: 04/1462

Location : Meenadreen, Laghey, Co. Donegal

Proposal: Construction of an extension (to an existing windfarm Ref 99/1256) of 5 Wind Turbine Generators, 70 metres in height with rotor diameter up to 84 metres and a wind measuring mast (70m) with site roads, site notice boards, control building with fenced compound and parking for up to 10 vehicles and ancillary equipment for generating electricity together with associated site services.
