The Department has received the following planning application accompanied by an Environmental Statement for development in Northern Ireland which is likely to have significant effects on the environment in another Member State (the Republic of Ireland).

Application No: J/2005/0104/F

Location: Tievenameenta, Co Tyrone (townlands of Crigshane, Ballymongan, Shanaghy, Tievenameenta, Crighdenis)

Proposal: Erection of a maximum of 22 turbines (maximum height of 110m above finished ground level to blade tip), associated transformers, new & upgraded access tracks, substation building nd associated scada aerial equipment, electricity cabling, anemometer mast (65 metres above finished ground level), site signage (for safety information), all associated ancillary works and car parking.
