Employment (Northern Ireland) Order 2003 (Commencement No. 2) Order (Northern Ireland) 2004 S.R. 2004 No. 520 (C. 31)

Notice is hereby given that the Department for Employment and Learning, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 1(2) and (3) of the Employment (Northern Ireland) Order 2003, and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, has made a Statutory Rule entitled the Employment (Northern Ireland) Order 2003 (Commencement No. 2) Order (Northern Ireland) 2004 S.R. 2004 No. 520 (C. 31).

The Order brings into operation, on 30th January 2005, the provisions of the Employment (Northern Ireland) Order 2003 which relate to conciliation, power to delegate prescription of forms, determination without a hearing, practice directions, and costs and allowances, for both the Fair Employment Tribunal for Northern Ireland and the industrial tribunals.

In addition the Order also commences, on 1st February 2005, the provision of the Employment (Northern Ireland) Order 2003 relating to the Deputy Certification Officer.

The Order also brings into operation, on 3rd April 2005, provisions of the Employment (Northern Ireland) Order 2003 relating to statutory dispute resolution procedures and consequential provisions relating to both the Fair Employment Tribunal for Northern Ireland and the industrial tribunals.
