Pursuant to Section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, notice is given that the Lakeland Investments Limited (1976) Retirement Fund (the “Fund”), will shortly to be wound-up. The Trustee of the Fund wishes to trace anyone, including former employees (whether full-time or part-time) of the following companies: Lowther Estate Trust, Lakeland Investments Ltd, Lowther Park Farms, Lowther Forestry Group, Lowther Forestry Services Ltd, Lowther Farming Partnership, Lowther Construction Ltd, Lowther and Crosdale (Sawmills) Limited, Earl of Lonsdale Estates, Clark Scott Harden Limited, Lowther Scott-Harden & Partners Ltd (“the Employers”), who believe they have (or might have) a claim against the Fund or an interest or entitlement to benefit under the Fund. Any such person is asked to provide full written particulars of any such claim, interest or entitlement to the Trustee of the Lakeland Investments Limited (1976) Retirement Fund, c/o First Actuarial LLP, Mayesbrook House, Lawnswood Business Park, Redvers Close, Leeds, LS16 6QY (Tel: 0113 818 7300). This should be provided on or before 26 October 2026 (together with their full name, address, National Insurance number, date of birth, dates of employment with the Employers and any relevant evidence of such benefit or employment). After this date, the Trustee will proceed with winding-up the Fund and distributing its assets having regard only to the claims, interests and entitlements of which they have had notice. The Trustee will not be liable to any person whose claim, interest or entitlement they have not been notified of on or before 26 October 2026. Notification is not required from persons who have recently received correspondence relating to the Fund from First Actuarial LLP or the Trustee.
