Notice is hereby given that Breezy Hill Energy Limited, (“the Company”) with company registration number SC720311, having its registered office at c/o Brockwell Energy Limited The Eagle Building-Third Floor, 19 Rose Street, Edinburgh, Lothian, EH2 2PR has applied to the Scottish Ministers for consent under section 36 of the Electricity Act 1989 to construct and operate Breezy Hill Energy Project in East Ayrshire approximately 13 km south-east of Ayr, 8.5 km south-west of Cumnock and 4.5 km north of Dalmellington (Central Grid Reference BNG 248092 612583). The installed capacity of the proposed generating station would be approximately 100 MW comprising up to 20 turbines with a ground to blade tip of up to 149.9 metres. The proposed development is subject to Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and an EIA Report has been produced.

The Company has also requested a direction under section 57(2) of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 that planning permission for the development be deemed to be granted.

The Company has now submitted additional information in the form of an Supplementary Environmental Information (SEI) Report, to Scottish Ministers, of an environmental grid route assessment, relating to the indicative grid connection corridor and associated grid connection infrastructure currently proposed by the transmission network operator to connect the proposed development to the National Grid, noting that this will be subject to a separate application under Section 37 of the Electricity Act 1989 promoted by the relevant transmission operator, once finalised. There are no changes to the proposed development.

Any new representations on the additional information may be submitted via www.energyconsents.scot, using the relevant Project Name and/or ECU reference number. Please note that you must be in possession of a working email address to submit a representation virtually.

Written representations should be dated, clearly stating the name (in block capitals) and full postal address of those making representations. All representations should be received not later than 14th August 2026, although Ministers may consider representations received after this date.

Any subsequent additional information which is submitted by the developer will be subject to further public notice in this manner, and representations to such information will be accepted as per this notice.

Where Scottish Ministers are required to, or decide to exercise their discretion to do so, they can cause a public inquiry to be held.

Scottish Ministers will determine the application for consent in one of two ways:

• Grant consent, with or without conditions attached; or

• Refuse the proposal.
