Notice is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs in exercise of the powers conferred upon her by section 3(5) of the Land Drainage Act 1991 (“the 1991 Act”), proposes to make an Order confirming a Scheme submitted by the Environment Agency with modifications under section 3(1) of the 1991 Act.

The draft Order confirming the Scheme makes provision for:

(i) the reconstitution of the Warboys, Somersham and Pidley Internal Drainage Board to reduce the number of elected members to 15 under section 3(2)(d) of the 1991 Act; and

(ii) matters supplemental to or consequential on the above under section 3(2)(i) of the 1991 Act.
