THE REDBRIDGE (WAITING, LOADING, STOPPING AND STREET PARKING PLACES) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2021 (AMENDMENT NO. 01) ORDER 2026

The Council of the London Borough of Redbridge, after consulting the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, in exercise of the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and of all other enabling powers, on 11 March 2026 made the above-mentioned Order, the effect of which will be to introduce:

(1) Permit Parking Area [SWC] zone operating Monday to Friday between 8.30am to 6.30pm in (a) Crescent Road, (b) Diana Close, (c) Fosters Close, (d) Gordon Road, between Latchett Road and Maybank Road, (e) Latchett Road, (f) Lynwood Close, (g) Maybank Road, (h) Waverley Close, and (i) Waverley Road.

(2) Shared-use parking places (permit holders SWC, or pay-by-phone with a maximum stay of 3 hours and no return within 1-hour), operating Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 6.30pm in; (a) Chigwell Road, the west side, footway parking between Maybank Road and Waverley Road. (b) Gordon Road (i) outside Nos. 31 to 35 Gordon Road, (ii) opposite Nos. 11 and 25 Gordon Road. (c) Latchett Road, (i) outside Latchett Evangelical Church, and (ii) outside the flank wall of No. 38 Gordon Road. (d) Lynwood Close, the west side. (e) Maybank Road, outside (i) Nos. 111 to 119 Maybank Road, (ii) No. 171 Maybank Road, (iii) Nos. 203 and 205 Maybank Road, (iv) No. 194 Maybank Road, (v) Latchett Evangelical Church and outside flank wall of no 234 Chigwell Road. (f) Raven Road (i) opposite Nos. 1 and 2 Raven Road, (ii) opposite No. 15 Raven Road, and (iii) the central island at the west end of Raven Road. (g) Waverley Road, outside the flank walls of (i) No. 63 Waverley Road, (ii) No. 170 Chigwell Road.

(3) Shared-use parking places (permit holders SWC, or pay-by-phone with no maximum stay), operating Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 6.30pm in; (a) Crescent Road, outside, (i) the flank wall of No. 221 Maybank Road, (ii) opposite Nos. 3 to 95 Crescent Road (b) Waverley Road, outside the flank walls of (i) No. 28 Crescent Road, and (ii) Nos. 18 to 26 Crescent Road.

(4) (a) Double yellow lines to maintain access, at corners, and junctions in: (i) Chigwell Road, both sides, between the Charlie Brown Roundabout and Wansford Road. (ii) Crescent Road, (iii) Diana Close, (iv) Fosters Road, (v) Gordon Road, (vi) Latchett Road, (vii) Lynwood Close, (viii) Maybank Road, (ix) Raven Road, (x) Waverley Close and (xi) Waverley Road. (b) Replace existing single yellow line (no waiting Monday to Saturday, 8am–6.30pm) with double yellow lines (no waiting at any time) between Nos. 208 and 246 Maybank Road.

A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 16 March 2026, together with the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order, the map schedules and map schedule legend indicating the locations and the effects may be examined at the Customer Centre, Lynton House, 255 to 259 High Road, Ilford, IG1 1NY Monday to Friday (except on Bank Holidays). Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any provisions contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
