Notice of directions given in proceedings brought against
Marinel Coman under
Company Directors Disqualification Act 1986
On 04th March 2025, proceedings to disqualify Marinel Coman as a company director were issued by the Secretary of State for Business and Trade pursuant to the Company Directors Disqualification Act 1986.
The proceedings were considered at High Court of Justice, Rolls Building, Fetter Lane, London on 14th November 2025 and the order made by the Court included the following requirements:
a) Unless Marinel Coman files in court and serves on the Secretary of State an acknowledgement of service by 5th December 2025, he shall be debarred from defending the disqualification claim without the permission of the court
b) Unless Marinel Coman files in court, and serves on the Secretary of State, evidence by 4pm on 19th December 2025 setting out reasons for opposing the application for disqualification and exhibiting copies of any relevant documents relied on he shall be debarred from filing evidence without the permission of the court.
c) The matter is to be listed for further directions or final disposal at 10.30am on 17 March 2026 with a time estimate of 45 minutes plus 30 minutes of advanced judicial reading time. This hearing will take place at High Court of Justice, Rolls Building, Fetter Lane, London.
d) In the event that Marinel Coman files evidence by the dates outlined above, the Secretary of State may file in court and serve on the Marinel Coman any further evidence in reply he wishes the court to take into consideration exhibiting copies of any relevant documentation by 4pm on 6th February 2026.
e) If Marinel Coman fails to file an acknowledgement of service or evidence within the time specified above, the Claimant’s disqualification application will be determined by way of an uncontested disposal hearing.
