THE LONDON BOROUGH OF EALING (STOPPING UP OF HIGHWAYS) (NO.*) ORDER 202*
1. THE COUNCIL OF THE LONDON BOROUGH OF EALING hereby gives notice that they propose to make an Order “the London Borough of Ealing (Stopping Up of Highways) (No.*) Order 202*” under sections 247 and 253 of the above Act to authorise the stopping up of the following lengths of public highway which are shown hatched and coloured black on the stopping up order plan: -
2. Brent Crescent, Hanger Lane NW10 7XR - Land south of Brent Crescent, east of Park Avenue and North of the A406, Hanger Lane.
(i) From the bell mouth of the western access junction to the existing fence that separates 189 Brent Crescent from the rest of the site, having a maximum length of 139.1 metres and a maximum width of 10.4 metres. E: 51.533899 N: -0.290878 to E: 51.534789 N: -0.289557
(ii) From the western edge of the protruding hard standing on the southern edge of the site to the eastern edge of the protruding hard standing on the southern edge of the site, having a maximum length of 20.72 metres and a maximum width of 3.88 metres. E: 51.533921 N: -0.290649 to E: 51.534021 N: -0.290396
(iii) From the western edge of the eastern outcropping south of the existing eastern access junction to the eastern edge of the eastern outcropping south of the existing access junction, having a maximum length of 10.43 metres and a maximum width of 4.77 metres. E: 51.534724 N: -0.289452 to E: 51.534801 N: -0.289314.
3. IF THE ORDER IS MADE, the stopping up will be authorised only in order to carry out the development described in the schedule to this notice in accordance with the planning permission applied for by FastPlaces Limited on 15th April 2025 under reference 251482FUL.
4. COPIES OF THE DRAFT ORDER AND RELEVANT PLAN MAY BE INSPECTED at all reasonable hours during the period of 28 days commencing on the 29 October 2025 at the office of Ealing Council Customer Services Reception, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL between 9:00am and 4:45pm on Monday to Friday, or by email to trafficnotices@ealing.gov.uk and may be obtained free of charge from the London Borough of Ealing (quoting reference 251482FUL) by e-mail to trafficnotices@ealing.gov.uk.
5. ANY PERSON MAY OBJECT to the making of the proposed order should send a statement in writing, by 26 November 2025, specifying the grounds on which any objection is made, to the London Borough of Ealing quoting the above reference 251482FUL by e-mail to ‘trafficnotices@ealing.gov.uk’ or posted to the Highways Service, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL.
6. In submitting an objection, it should be borne in mind that the substance of it may be imparted to other persons who may be affected by it and that those persons may wish to communicate with the objector about it.

THE SCHEDULE
(Description of development – see paragraph 2 above)
BRENT CRESCENT, HANGER LANE, LONDON NW10 7XR
The development for 36 electric vehicle charging points, seven parking spaces, three covering canopies each made up of six modules; an ancillary unit providing toilet facilities, a small retail area and waiting/seating area; landscaping; and associated works.
The above development will take place almost entirely on unused public highway that is owned by Transport for London but is currently gated and not in public use.
