1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Hounslow propose to make the above-mentioned Orders, under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of these Orders would be to:

(a) make the following amendments in Twickenham Road, Isleworth:-

(i) relocate the existing payment parking place on the west side outside No. 231 Twickenham Road by 6.7 metres northwards and reduce the length by 6 metres;

(ii) relocate the existing payment parking place on the west side outside No. 205 Twickenham Road by 7 metres southwards and reduce the length by 5.5 metres;

(iii) revoke the existing payment parking place on the west side outside No. 225 Twickenham Road,;

(iv) relocate the existing goods vehicle loading place on the west side outside No. 229 Twickenham Road by 11 metres northwards; and

(v) amend existing waiting and loading restrictions to accommodate the changes listed above.

(b) make the following amendments in St Johns Road, Isleworth:-

(i) revoke a section of the existing permit parking place on the south side, outside Nos. 77 and 79 St Johns Road;

(ii) introduce a no waiting at any time restriction on the south side, outside Nos. 77 and 79 St Johns Road; and

(iii) replace a section of the existing no waiting Mon-Fri 10am-12pm and 5pm-7pm on the north side, outside No. 116 St Johns Road with a no waiting at any time restriction.

3. The London Borough of Hounslow GIVES FURTHER NOTICE in exercise of the powers under section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce Zebra Crossings and associated zig-zag markings in the following location: (

a) Twickenham Road, Isleworth, both sides, from a point approximately 6 metres north of the northern building line of No. 209 Twickenham Road, for a distance of approximately 37 metres in a northerly direction.

4. Documents giving further information of the proposed Orders and raised table can be viewed for a period of 21 days from the date of this Notice online at hounslow.gov.uk by typing in the term “traffic notices” in the search bar and at Hounslow Library, Hounslow House First Floor, 7 Bath Road, TW3 3EB or at The Reception of Hounslow House, Ground Floor, 7 Bath Road, TW3 3EB on Mondays and Thursdays between 9.30am and 8pm, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays between 9.30am and 5.30pm or on Sundays between 11.30am and 4.00pm.

5. Any person wishing to object to the proposals should send a statement in writing stating the grounds of their objection to the Acting Assistant Director for Traffic, Transport and Parking, Hounslow House, 7 Bath Road, Hounslow, Middlesex TW3 3EB or via email to trafficorders@hounslow.gov.uk quoting the reference TMO/P041/25, to be received no later than 31 October 2025.
