The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highway (North East) (No.18) Order 2025" authorising the stopping up of a northern part width of highway verge at Trident Close, Hartlepool, Teesside. This is to enable development as permitted by Hartlepool Development Corporation, under reference HMDC/2024/0037.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/NE/S247/6066). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Hartlepool Borough Council, Civic Centre, Victoria Road, Hartlepool, TS24 8AY.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 25 September 2025.
