NOTICE is hereby given that on 14 August 2025 a Petition was presented to the Sheriff at Glasgow by Mitchells Funeral Directors Ltd having its registered office at Unit 3, 18 Chapel Street, Rutherglen, Glasgow, G73 1JE; (“the Company”) craving the Court inter alia that the Company be wound up by the Court and that an Interim Liquidator be appointed; in which Petition the Sheriff at Glasgow by Interlocutor dated 14 August 2025 appointed all persons having an interest to lodge Answers in the hands of the Sheriff Clerk at Glasgow within eight days after intimation, service or advertisement; eo die appointed Linda Hastings, Insolvency Practitioner of Hastings & Co, The Pentagon Centre, Washington Street, Glasgow G3 8AZ as Provisional Liquidator of the Company and authorised her to exercise the powers contained in Part I, Part II and paragraph 6 of Part III of Schedule 4 to the Insolvency Act 1986, for a limited period of 3 months from the date hereof (unless otherwise extended) or until the appointment of an Interim Liquidator to the said Company, whichever is earlier.
