Notice is hereby given that on 25 July 2025 a Petition was presented to the Sheriff at Falkirk by Mark Waind, craving the Court inter alia that Ballantine Castings Ltd. having its registered office at Ballantine Castings, 38-40 Links Road, Bo’Ness, West Lothian, United Kingdom EH51 9PW be wound up by the Court and an Interim Liquidator be appointed, and to appoint meantime a Provisional Liquidator; in which Petition the Sheriff at Falkirk by Interlocutor dated 28 July 2025 appointed all interested persons, who intend to show cause why the prayer of the Petition should not be granted, to lodge answers in the hands of the Sheriff Clerk at Falkirk Sheriff Court, Sheriff Court House, Main Street, Camelon, Falkirk FK1 4AR within eight days after intimation, service or advertisement; all of which notice is hereby given, and meantime, appointed Graeme Norman Bain (IP No. 515) of Johnston Carmichael LLP having a place of business at 227 West George Street, Glasgow G2 2ND to be Provisional Liquidator of Ballantine Castings Ltd. and authorised him to exercise the powers contained in paragraphs 4 and 5 of Part II of Schedule 4 to the Insolvency Act 1986.
