Notice is hereby given that on 8 May 2025, a petition was presented to Edinburgh Sheriff Court by MICHIEL MARC FORNIER and CAREL WILLEM JAN KOK craving the Court inter alia that EMERGYA WIND TECHNOLOGIES (EWT) DIRECTWIND UK LTD, Thistle Court, 1 - 2 Thistle Street, Edinburgh, EH2 1DD (registered office) (company registration number SC696795) be wound up by the Court and that joint interim liquidators be appointed; and that meantime, Chad Griffin and Callum Carmichael, Insolvency Practitioners both of FRP Advisory Trading Limited, Apex 3, 95 Haymarket Terrace, Edinburgh, EH12 5HD be appointed as Provisional Liquidators of the said Company; in which Petition the Sheriff by interlocutor dated 8 May 2025 (1) appointed a copy of this deliverance to be published on the SCTS website in lieu of the Walls of Court, and a like copy to be served upon the said EMERGYA WIND TECHNOLOGIES (EWT) DIRECTWIND UK LTD; (2) appoints notice of the import of the petition and of this deliverance, and of the particulars specified in the Act of Sederunt to be advertised once in the Edinburgh Gazette and once in the Metro newspaper; (3) ordains the said EMERGYA WIND TECHNOLOGIES (EWT) DIRECTWIND UK LTD, and any other persons interested to lodge Answers thereto by email to edinburghcommercial@scotcourts.gov.uk within eight days after such intimation, service or advertisement, under certification; (4) meantime; on cause shown, until the crave of the petition for a winding up order has been granted or refused, nominated and appointed Chad Griffin and Callum Carmichael, Insolvency Practitioners both of FRP Advisory Trading Limited, Apex 3, 95 Haymarket Terrace, Edinburgh, EH12 5HD to be joint provisional liquidators of the said company and (5) authorises them to exercise the powers contained in paragraphs 7 and 12 of Part II of schedule 4 to the Insolvency Act 1986 for a limited period of 3 months from the date hereof (unless otherwise extended) or until the appointment of joint interim liquidators, whichever shall first occur.
