Notice is given that at 09:09 hours, on 24 April 2025, at the Harbour Highway, Larne, County Antrim, the Driver & Vehicle Agency, by virtue of powers under regulation 3 of the Goods Vehicles (Enforcement Powers) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2012 (“the 2012 Regulations”) detained the following vehicle and trailer:

Registration number: WHZ9321

Make: Scania

Trailer Identification number: NI/064508/07

Make: Ros Roca

At the time the vehicle and trailer were detained the trailer was laden with salmon viscera.

Any person having a claim to the vehicle and trailer is required to establish their claim in writing on or before 30 May 2025. The application form can be downloaded at www.infrastructure-ni.gov.uk/publications/application-department-infrastructure-return-detained-goods-vehicle The form should be completed and sent by post to the Transport Regulation Unit, Safe and Accessible Travel Division, Department for Infrastructure, James House, 2-4 Cromac Avenue, The Gasworks, Belfast, BT7 2JA or via email to TRU@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk (Regulations 9, 10 and 20 of the 2012 Regulations refer).

If on or by the date given in this notice, no person has established that they are entitled to the return of the vehicle and trailer, the Driver & Vehicle Agency shall be entitled to dispose of them (Regulations 13 and 14 of the 2012 Regulations refer).

Any person having a claim to the contents of the above vehicle and trailer may seek their return on or before 30 May 2025 at the Driver & Vehicle Agency, Hydebank House, 4A Hospital Road, Ballydollaghan, Belfast, BT8 8JL between 09:00 hours and 17:00 hours Monday to Friday.

If on or by the date given in this notice, no person has established that they are entitled to the return of the contents, the Driver & Vehicle Agency shall dispose of them (Regulations 15 and 16 of the 2012 Regulations refer).
