Notice is hereby given that on 10 March 2025 a Petition was presented to the Sheriff Court at Glasgow by Finbiz Funding Limited t/a Bizcap UK, 16 Great Queen Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2B 5AH, craving the Court inter alia that OPIE’S EMPORIUM LTD, a private limited company (Company No: SC669884) having its registered office at 44 Nasmyth Road South, Hillington Park, Glasgow, G52 4RE (the “Company”) be wound up by the Court; in which Petition the Sheriff at the Sheriff Court at Glasgow by interlocutor dated 10 March 2025; (1) appointed the petition to be intimated on the Scottish Courts and Tribunal Service website, and a like copy to be served upon the said Company; (2) appoints notice of the import of the petition to be advertised once in the Edinburgh Gazette and the Metro newspaper; and meantime appointed Scott Bastick, Middlebrooks Business Recovery & Advice, 14-18 Hill Street, Edinburgh, EH2 3JZ, duly qualified under the Act, to be provisional liquidator of the Company; and (3) authorised the provisional liquidator to exercise the powers contained in sections 135, 167 and 169 of the Insolvency Act 1986, for a limited period of three months from the date hereof (unless otherwise extended) or until the appointment of the interim liquidator of the said Company, whichever is earlier; and appointed any other persons interested, if they intend to show cause why the prayer of the petition should not be granted, to lodge answers thereto in the hands of the Sheriff Clerk at Glasgow within eight days after such intimation, service or advertisement. All of which notice is hereby given.
