1. The Council of the London Borough of Lewisham proposes to make the above Traffic Regulation Orders under Sections 6, 32, 35, 36, 45, 46 and 49 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which is to:- (a) convert the existing limited waiting bays in the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule 1 to this Notice to paid for on-street parking places (pay by phone), for use by vehicles for which the appropriate charge is paid on the days and such times as specified in the said Schedule; (b) set the charge at £1 per 30 minutes, with a maximum stay of 30 minutes and no return within 4 hours; (c) revoke the limited waiting provisions in Staplehurst Road. The existing shared-use provisions as specified in Schedule 2 will remain; (d) revoke the limited waiting provisions in Dartmouth Road and replace with a shared-use bay as specified and described in Schedule 3 to this Notice; (e) revoke the limited waiting provisions in Brockley Road and replace with a shared-use bay as specified and described in Schedule 4 to this Notice; (f) revoke the limited waiting provisions in Clyde Vale and replace with a shared-use bay as specified and described in Schedule 5 to this Notice.

2. Where a new restriction has been proposed in the same length of road, the existing restrictions will be replaced by those proposed restrictions.

3. Copies of the draft Order plans and Statement of the Council’s Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be obtained by emailing a request to trafficorders@lewisham.gov.uk quoting reference ‘PTO-1070’.

4. Comments on the proposals for or against, together with the reasons for which they are made should be sent through the lewisham.traffweb.app website or in writing to trafficorders@lewisham.gov.uk or Lewisham Transport Policy & Development, Laurence House, 1 Catford Road, London SE6 4RU, quoting reference ‘PTO-1070’ to arrive not later than 21 days from the date of publication of this notice.

5. All written representations received concerning Traffic Regulation Orders are public documents that may be inspected by any person on demand.
