THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT) (SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 2017
Notice is hereby given under Regulation 21 of the above that a planning application submitted by Scottish Hydro Electric Transmission Plc constitutes development falling within the Regulations as Environmental Impact Assessment development and is accordingly supported by an Environmental Impact Assessment Report. The details of the application are:
National for Erection of 400kV AC Substation and Associated Infrastructure on land at Mains Land At Mains Of Greens Cuminestown Aberdeenshire AB53 5YQ

Copies of the Environmental Impact Assessment Report may be purchased from Chris Gardner, at SSEN Transmission, Grampian House, 200 Dunkeld Road, Perth, PH1 3AQ or via email Chris.gardner@sse.com at a cost of £1000 whilst such documents can be viewed free of charge at the following locations:
· Buchan House, St Peter Street, Peterhead (Opening Hours: 8.45am – 5pm Monday to Friday)
· The Fife Arms Hotel, The Square, Town Centre, Turriff, AB53 4AE (Between the hours of 11am – 7pm)
Any representation to this application may be submitted during the period of 30 days beginning with the date of this notice. Comments may be made quoting the reference number and stating clearly the grounds for making comment. Comments can be submitted using the Planning Register when viewing the application. Alternatively, comments can be addressed in writing to Aberdeenshire Council, Planning and Economy Service, Viewmount, Arduthie Road, Stonehaven, AB39 2DQ (or emailed to planningonline@aberdeenshire.gov.uk). Please note that any comment, where considered valid, will be published on the Planning Register.
Comments must be received by 5 February 2025
In the event supplementary information is provided in relation to this application, a further notice shall be published which will allow a further 30 days for members of the public to provide comment.
