The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highways (West Midlands) (No.16) Order 2024" authorising the stopping up of an area of St. John’s Street at Wellington, in the Borough of Telford and Wrekin. This is to enable development as permitted by Telford and Wrekin Cooperative Council, under reference TWC/2022/0629.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/WM/S247/5424). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Wellington Library, Walker Street, Wellington, Telford TF1 1LX.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 26 July 2024.
