Norfolk County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) and 15(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, hereby give notice that THEY PROPOSE TO MAKE Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders in respect of the following roads:

AYLSHAM - Church Lane from its junction with A140 Aylsham Bypass to its junction with B1145 Banningham Road to facilitate construction of temporary road by Vattenfall Wind Power Ltd from 4th July 2024 to 4th July 2028. Alternative route is via: A140 Aylsham Bypass, B1145 Banningham Road.

NORWICH - Upton Road from 16m southeast of its junction with Unthank Road for 37m south eastwards (“Road A”); and Unthank Road (south-westbound lane only) from its junction with Coach House Court for 30m south westwards (“Road B”); and Coach House Court from its junction with Unthank Road for 20m southwards (“Road C”) to facilitate site access for building works. Vehicles using the Roads A, B and C will be temporarily prohibited to park, stop, load, and/or unload from 1st July 2024 to 31st January 2027. Alternative route is via: N/A.

Unless otherwise stated, the effect of these Orders will be to prohibit the use by vehicles of the named roads. In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance. Where an Order is for a reason other than works it is because of the likelihood of danger to the public or of serious damage to the road. The Orders are revoked on the end date or on the actual date of removal of the prohibition/restriction where earlier without further notice.

Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
