Claimants should provide full details of their claim, their full name, address, national insurance number, date of birth, and if applicable dates of employment with Legal & General, together with copies of all documents which support their claim.
Important note: The Trustee has already written to all members and beneficiaries currently receiving benefits or with a known entitlement to future benefits from the Scheme. If you have received a notification of wind-up dated November 2023 from the Trustee, you do not need to respond to this notice.
All claims must be made by 1 June 2024 so they may be considered by the Trustee before it completes the winding-up of the Scheme.
After that date, the Trustee will proceed to complete the winding up of the Scheme by distributing all the property of the trust, having regard to only those claims and entitlements the Trustee has received notice of by 1 June 2024. The Trustee will not be liable to or in respect of any other person whose claim or entitlement has not been so notified.
