NOTICE OF STOPPING UP ORDER
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990, SECTION 247
LONDON BOROUGH OF HAVERING STOPPING UP OF HIGHWAYS (LAND AT HILLDENE CLOSE, HAROLD HILL) ORDER 2024
THE COUNCIL OF THE LONDON BOROUGH OF HAVERING (“Council”) gives NOTICE that on 19th February 2024 it made an Order under Section 247 (2A) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (as amended) the general effect of which is to authorise the stopping up of highway land at Hilldene Close, Harold Hill (“Land”). The area of Land measures approximately:
Plot – 59 meters squared in length (at its widest point) and approximately 8 meters squared in width (at its widest point) sited between OS grid reference points: 553672.025E, 192232.975N; 553678.900E, 192237.150N; 553706.672E, 192185.352N; and 553672.200E, 192231.300N
The stopping up is required to enable development to be carried out on the Land, in accordance with planning permission, reference P0461.22, granted by the Council.

IF ANY PERSON aggrieved by the order desires to question its validity or that of any provision contained within it on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Act, or that any requirement of the Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under Section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within 6 weeks from the date on which this notice is first published.
