In a Petition presented to the Court of Session in terms of Section 8 of the Company Directors Disqualification Act 1986 at the instance of His Majesty’s Secretary of State for Business and Trade, Department for Business and Trade, the Insolvency Service, Cannon House, 18 Priory Queensway, Birmingham, B4 6FD in respect of Mr Noor Ahmed, residing at 64 Faulds Wynd, Aberdeen, AB12 5NR, Lord Sandison on 30 November 2023, made the following order: The Lord Ordinary, having heard Counsel for the Petitioner at the starred motion hearing conducted by way of WebEx video conference, there being no appearance by or for the Respondent: 1. disqualifies the Respondent, Noor Ahmed, residing at 64 Faulds Wynd, Aberdeen, AB12 5NR, from being a director of a company, or in any way, either directly or indirectly, from being concerned or taking part in the promotion, formation or management of a company, in each case without leave of the court, for a period of six years, beginning 21 days after the date of this interlocutor; 2. directs the Deputy Principal Clerk of Session to furnish the Petitioner with the particulars of the Order in accordance with Regulations 6(1)(g) and 7 of the Companies (Disqualification Order) Regulations 2009; 3. directs the making of this order to be registered by the Secretary of State for Business and Trade; 4. appoints this order to be advertised in the Edinburgh Gazette; and 5. finds the Respondent, Noor Ahmed, liable to the Petitioner in the expenses of the Petition; remits the account thereof, when lodged, to the Auditor of Court to tax; and decerns. All of which notice is hereby given.
