THE GLA ROADS AND GLA SIDE ROADS (CAMDEN) RED ROUTE CONSOLIDATION TRAFFIC ORDER 2007 A41 GLA ROAD (FINCHLEY ROAD) VARIATION ORDER 2023
1. Transport for London, hereby gives notice that on 11th August 2023 it made the above named Order, under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will come into force on 21st August 2023.
2. The general nature and effect of the Orders will be to:
(1) prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in any direction other than straight ahead on A41 Finchley Road at its junctions with Fortune Green Road and Platt’s Lane;
(2) change the operation times of the Parking Bay outside Nos. 571 – 573 Finchley Road to No Stopping Mon-Sat 7am - 7pm Except 10am-4pm parking 30 minutes No return within 1 hour;
(3) formalise the existing double red lines (No Stopping at Any time) on Fortune Green Road opposite its junction with Ardwick Road;
(4) lengthen the northbound Bus Lane on A41 Finchley Road between its junctions with Lyncroft Gardens to Fortune Green Road by 40 meters at its northern end
3. The road which would be affected by the Order is the A41 GLA Road Finchley Road in the London Borough of Camden.
4. A copy of the Order, a statement of Transport for London’s reasons for the proposals, a map indicating the location and effect of the Order and copies of any Order revoked, suspended or varied by the Order can be requested via email at trafficordersection@tfl,gov.uk, or by post at the following address quoting reference NP/REGULATION/STOT/LL/TRO, GLA/2022/0163-0165.

5. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers conferred by the Act or that any requirement of the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order is made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
