THE A400 GLA ROAD (LIDLINGTON PLACE, LONDON BOROUGH OF CAMDEN) (CYCLE LANES) TRAFFIC ORDER 2023
1. Transport for London, hereby gives notice that it intends to make the above named Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
2. The general nature and effect of the Orders will be to:
(1) formalise the removal of the Monday to Saturday 8am to 4pm Loading and Disabled Persons Vehicles’ bay outside No.87 Hampstead Road replacing it with double red lines (No Stopping at Any Time);
(2) formalise the removal of the Monday to Saturday 8am to 4pm Parking and Disabled Persons Vehicles’ bay outside Nos. 89 to 101 and 103 to 105 Hampstead Road replacing it with double red lines (No Stopping at Any Time);
(3) formalise the removal of the Monday to Saturday 8am to 4pm Loading and Disabled Persons Vehicles’ bay outside No.107 to 119 Hampstead Road replacing it with double red lines (No Stopping at Any Time);
(4) formalise the removal of the Monday to Saturday 10am to 4pm Loading and Disabled Persons Vehicles’ bay outside No.100 Hampstead Road replacing it with double red lines (No Stopping at Any Time);
(5) remove the Monday to Saturday 8am to 7pm Parking and Disabled Persons Vehicles’ bay on Harrington Square (southern arm) to the west of No. 2 Lidlington Place replacing it with double red lines (No Stopping at Any Time);
(6) replace the Monday to Saturday 8am to 7pm Parking and Disabled Persons Vehicles’ bay outside No. 2 Lidlington Place and at the side of Holmrook, No. 205 Eversholt Street with the 8am to 7pm 20 min Loading and Unloading and 3 Hour Disabled Persons’ Vehicles bay Outside No. 2 Lidlington Place. Its original position will be replaced by double red lines (No Stopping at Any Time);
(7) replace the single red lines (No Stopping Monday to Saturday 8an to 7pm) on both sides of Oakley Square (south-eastern arm) with double red lines (No Stopping at Any Time);
(8) introduce a No Stopping except 10am to 4pm Loading and Unloading 20 mins and Disabled Persons’ Vehicles 3 hour bay on Oakley Square (south-eastern arm) outside Mayford, Oakley Square;
(9) formalise the prohibition of all vehicles except pedal cycles from Entering William Road and the southern arm of Mornington Crescent at their junctions with Hampstead Road;
(10) permit pedal cycles in the north westbound cycle lanes on Lidlington Place to procced north-westwards;.
(11) introduce a 11 metre long a north-westbound contraflow cycle lane opposite No.2 Lidlington Place and a 7 metre long north-westbound contraflow cycle lane on Lidlington Pace the western kerb-line of Eversholt Street and a point 7 metres westwards;
(12) prohibit all vehicles proceeding south-westwards on the south-eastern arm of Oakley Square to turn right into Eversholt Street,
(13) prohibit pedal cycles using the proposed north-eastbound Cycle Track on Lidlington Place to turn right into Eversholt Street;
(14) permit all vehicles proceeding south-westwards on the south-eastern arm of Oakley Square to turn left into Eversholt Street;
(15) formalise the at any time northbound with flow bus lane on Tottenham Court Road and Hampstead Road restricted to Buses, Dial a Ride Buses, Taxis and Pedal Cycles only between its junction with Warren Street and the southern building line of Nos. 15 to 20 Hampstead Road;
(16) formalise the extension of the at any time southbound with flow bus lane on Hampstead Road restricted to Buses, Dial a Ride Buses, Taxis, Pedal Cycles and Solo Motor Cycles only between North Gower Street and 35 metres north of Drummond Street to a point 25 metres north of the eastbound on slip road to Euston Road.
3. The roads which would be affected by the Orders are Mornington Crescent, William Road, the A400 Hampstead Road, Lidlington Place and Oakley Square.
4. A copy of the Order, a statement of Transport for London’s reasons for the proposals, a map indicating the location and effect of the Orders and copies of any Order revoked, suspended or varied by the Orders can be inspected by appointment during normal office hours at our office at the address below. 5. All objections and other representations to the proposed Orders must be made in writing and must specify the grounds on which they are made. Objections and representations must be sent to Transport for London, Streets Traffic Order Team, Palestra, 197 Blackfriars Road, London, SE1 8NJ or by emailing trafficordersection@tfl.gov.uk quoting reference NMR/REGULATION/STOT/GK/TRO, GLA/2023/0469-474, to arrive before 24th August 2023. Please note due to Hybrid working access to post is restricted and requests for documents and confirmation of your objections or representations may be delayed. Objections and other representations may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
