TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 SECTION 247 (AS AMENDED)

STOPPING UP OF HIGHWAY AT LAND ADJACENT TO 1-3 BOUNDARY CLOSE, LOXFORD LANE, ILFORD, IG3

(STOPPING UP ORDER NO. 01 2023)

THE COUNCIL OF THE LONDON BOROUGH OF REDBRIDGE (“the Council”) hereby gives notice that it has made an order under section 247 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (“the Act”) authorising the stopping up of the public highway which is described in the First Schedule to this Notice.

THE ORDER IS MADE, to enable the development described in the Second Schedule to this Notice to be carried out in accordance with planning permission, reference number Ref 1189/20.

COPIES OF THE ORDER AND THE RELEVANT PLAN No: 2023/SUO/001 may be inspected free of charge by any person from 30th March 2023 to 11th May 2023 at the following locations:

a) The information Centre, Lynton house, 225-259 High Road, Ilford, Essex IG1 1NY – between 8.45 am and 4.30pm Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and on Wednesdays between 9.30am and 4.30pm (excluding bank holidays and public holidays) and

b) Central Library, Clements Road, Ilford IG1 1EA between 9.30am to 8pm Mondays to Fridays; between 10am to 5pm Saturday.

Any person aggrieved by the order and wishing to question its validity, or any provision contained in the order, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the TCPA 1990 or that any procedural requirement of the TCPA 1990 or any regulation made under the TCPA 1990 has not been complied with in relation to the making of the order may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the order was made, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the order or of any provision contained in the order.

The hatched area of Boundary Close to be stopped up measuring approximately 65.241 metres in length and 9.94 metres in width as shown on the attached deposited plan number 2023/SUO/001 and which can be inspected at the above locations.

The Second Schedule
