BY THE KING A PROCLAMATION APPOINTING MONDAY 19TH SEPTEMBER 2022 AS A BANK HOLIDAY IN ENGLAND, WALES AND NORTHERN IRELAND CHARLES R

Whereas, to mark the passing of Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second, We consider it desirable that Monday the nineteenth day of September in the year 2022 should be a bank holiday in England, Wales and Northern Ireland:

Now, therefore, We in pursuance of section 1(3) of the Banking and Financial Dealings Act 1971, do hereby appoint Monday the nineteenth day of September in the year 2022 to be a bank holiday in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Given at Our Court at St James’s this tenth day of September in the year of our Lord two thousand and twenty-two in the first year of Our Reign.
