THE LEWISHAM (CYCLE HANGARS) (NO. *) ORDER 202*

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lewisham Borough Council proposes to make the above Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49, 63 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be to:

(a) introduce electric vehicle parking places operating “at any time” at the locations detailed in Schedule 1 to this notice. The Schedule also includes details of revisions to existing parking provision to facilitate the introduction of the electric vehicle parking places. The proposed locations are adjacent to existing lamp columns which house a recharging facility. (b) introduce cycle hangars (secure cycle parking facilities) at the locations detailed in Schedule 2 to this Notice. The Schedule also includes details of revisions to existing parking provision to facilitate the installation of the cycle hangars. (c) formalise the existing cycle hangars on the carriageway.

3. A pack of documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders can be collected for inspection between 9 am and 5 pm on Monday to Friday at the reception of the Council’s office, Laurence House, 1 Catford Road, London, SE6 4RU. Alternatively, the Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders can also be obtained by emailing a request to trafficorders@lewisham.gov.uk quoting reference “electric vehicles and cycle hangars - TMO”.

4. Any objection or other representation relating to the proposed Orders must be made in writing and all objections must specify the grounds on which they are made and must be emailed to trafficorders@lewisham.gov.uk or posted to Lewisham Transport Policy & Development, 5th Floor, Laurence House, 1 Catford Road, London, SE6 4RU, quoting reference “electric vehicles and cycle hangars - TMO” to arrive no later than 21 days from the date of publication of this notice. Any objection may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
