1. Southwark Council hereby GIVES NOTICE that on 25 November 2021 it has made the above Order under sections 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended (‘the 1984 Act’).

2. The effect of the Order is, in CLAUDE ROAD south-west side (at the side of Russell Court, Heaton Road):-

(a) to reduce in length an existing permit-holders’ parking place in Controlled Parking Zone ‘B’ by 5.5 metres to accommodate a new car club parking place; and

(b) to provide a new car club parking place, 5.5 metres in length for the leaving ‘at any time’ of a car club vehicle, in respect of which, there has been granted a valid car club permit.

3. Copies of the order, which will come into force on 29 November 2021, and of all other relevant documents are available for inspection at Highways, Southwark Council, Environment and Leisure, 3rd floor hub 2, 160 Tooley Street, London SE1 2QH, by appointment only. 4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the order may, within six weeks of the date on which the order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
