The Department for the Economy has made a Statutory Rule entitled "The Corporate Insolvency and Governance Act 2020 (Coronavirus) (Amendment of Schedule 11) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2021 (S.R. 2021 No. 259) which came into operation on 29 September 2021.

This Statutory Rule replaced Schedule 11 to the Corporate Insolvency and Governance Act 2020 with a substitute providing for a tapered easing of restrictions on winding up of companies to apply during the period 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022. This Statutory Rule has been approved by the Assembly on the 18th October 2021.
