NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet propose to make the above-mentioned Order under Section 6 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

The general effect of the Order would be to introduce a new pedestrian and cycle zone operational Monday to Friday 8.30am to 9.30am and 3pm to 4pm in The Avenue N11 and Carlisle Place N11 in the vicinity of St Pauls Primary School

. All motor vehicles, except permit holders, would be prohibited from entering the pedestrian and cycle zone during the operational hours. Permits allowing motorists to enter the pedestrian and cycle zone would be available to residents and employees of businesses and organisations at premises located within or accessible only from the pedestrian and cycle zone, by application to the Council.

A copy of the proposed Order, associated plans of the relevant area and the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order can be obtained, inclusive for a period of 28 days from the date on which this notice is published, by emailing traffic.consultations@barnet.gov.uk or by writing to the Design Team, Highways Section, 6th Floor, 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale, London NW9 4EW quoting reference: SCR369-BC001950-66.

Any person wishing to object to or comment on the proposed Order should send a written statement explaining their objection/comments, and quoting reference number SCR369-BC001950-66 to the Design Team, 6th Floor, 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale, London, NW9 4EW, via the Barnet TraffWeb website www.barnettraffweb.co.uk or via email to traffic.consultations@barnet.gov.uk within 28 days of the date of this Notice.
