1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.

2. The general effect of the Orders will be to introduce or amend in certain locations the following parking and waiting changes:-

(a) no waiting at any time (double yellow line) restrictions.

• at each junction between

o Haymer Gardens and Bridgewood Road

o Dewsbury Gardens and Stoneleigh Avenue

o Sandringham Road and Stoneleigh Avenue (opposite No 96/98 Lynwood Drive)

o Sandringham Road and Stoneleigh Avenue (opposite No 4/6 Stoneleigh Avenue)

o Knolls Close and Kingsmead Avenue

o Fairlight Close and Kingsmead Avenue

o Killester Gardens and Tudor Avenue (including the traffic island)

o Sparrow Farm Road and Woodstone Avenue

o Sparrow Farm Road and St Clair Drive

o Sparrow Farm Road and Bradstock Road

o Hemingford Road and Wordsworth Drive on both junctions

o Leicester Close and Willowhayne Gardens

o D’Arcy Road and Church Hill Road

o Hilbert Road and Wrayfield Road

o Hayes Crescent and Wrayfield Road

o Wrayfield Road and Buxton Crescent

o The Meads and Marlow Drive

o Tudor Avenue outside Nos 5 and 6

o southern side of Leicester Close

o western side of Willowhayne Gardens including the northern turning area

o both sides of Palmer Avenue extending existing Red Route restrictions

o both sides of Wickham Avenue extending the Red Route restrictions

o both sides of The Spinney from the junction with London Road to outside No 404

o northern side of Fairlight Close

o Sandringham Road opposite No 127 and No 97

o Dalmeny Road outside No 136

o Oaks Avenue outside No 3

o Dalmeny Road extended along the side of No 95 Braemar Road

o Knolls Close inner corner opposite No 6

o Tudor Avenue inner side of the traffic island at the junction with London Road

o Oaks Avenue inner side of the traffic island at the junction with London Road

o Hemingford Road at the island site

o Priory Crescent along the side of No 187 Church Hill Road

o Priory Crescent between Priory Avenue and Priory Road on the north eastern side, outside No. 1 and across the adjacent access and adjacent to No. 9 Priory Road

o Priory Road adjacent to No. 238 Priory Road

o Buxton Crescent between No 78 and 80

o either side of Carlton Crescent and across the rear access on the eastern and western arms

o southern side of Church Hill Road across the access between No 133 and 135

o Kenley Walk around the inner kerb of the turning area

o Hemingford Road around the inner kerb of the turning area

o Wordsworth Drive extending the existing restrictions outside Sidmouth and Westminster Courts

o Wordsworth Drive inner kerb of outside No 36

o both sides of Newbolt Avenue extending the existing restrictions to outside No 4

o both sides of Wrayfield Road from Esher Avenue to outside No 54

o Esher Avenue outside No 8

o Dewsbury Gardens in the turning head

(b) no waiting (single yellow line) restrictions operating Monday to Friday between 8am and 10am and 3pm and 5pm

• both sides (except for junction protections) of

o Dundela Gardens

o Killester Gardens

o The Mount

• Sparrow Farm Road opposite No 81 to outside No 86

• St Clair Drive outside Nos. 93 to 113

(c) no waiting (single yellow line) restrictions operating Monday to Saturday between 10am and 11am

• Church Hill Road between D’Arcy Road and No 255

• Church Hill Road between Priory Crescent and D’Arcy Road

• Church Hill Road between Priory Crescent and Priory Avenue

(d) no waiting (single yellow line) restrictions operating Monday to Saturday between 11am and 12pm

• Church Hill Road between Hayes Crescent and Buxton Crescent

• Church Hill Road between Hayes Crescent and Hilbert Road

• Church Hill Road between Hilbert Road and No. 230

(e) no waiting (single yellow line) restrictions operating Monday to Saturday between 8am and 6.30pm

• Wordsworth Drive outside Sidmouth Court

• Wordsworth Drive outside No. 76 to alongside No. 34 Hemingford Road

(f) No loading/unloading ‘at any time’ restrictions at the junction of Central Road and Balmoral Road

(g) amend the map-based tiles to the schedule attached to The Sutton (Charged for Parking Places) Order 2017 and to The Sutton (Free Parking Places, Loading Places and Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) Order 2017 to match conditions as they exist on site.

3. Copies of the proposed Orders, of the Council’s Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders and plans showing the locations and the effects of the proposals may be inspected at the Council’s Civic Offices, St Nicholas Way, Sutton, Surrey, SM1 1EA. Copies can also be obtained by calling 020 8770 5000.
